I wanted to make a quilt big enough for my bed. I was drawn to large shapes and I wanted to learn curves. The curves were not as hard as I thought they would be. I didn’t think it would work but when I opened the fabric up after sewing, I had curves! The trick was using water soluble glue to glue the fabric before sewing.

There are so many shades of this beige color, I ordered the wrong one a few times. I’m working on keeping better records.

Some behind the scenes photos. The biggest challenge was the size. I’m not sure if I’ll try quilting such a large quilt on my domestic machine again. After this I signed up for a long arm class.
