I made this for my nephew in California. I wanted something not too warm so I went to the fabric store and picked out a a lightweight and drapey fabric, it turned out to be call cotton lawn. I enjoy learning about different types of fabrics and lawn was new to me. To me it feels slippery and I think it would make a good summer blouse. I really love the print of the backing fabric, I wish I remembered what it’s called. I felt weird about decapitating all those giraffes.
