Bad at math, loves sparkles.
This one feels very me. I started playing around with solid colors and geometric shapes. I remember being surprised that I did the math wrong (triangles ugh!) and ended up having to figure it out piece by piece. I was also surprised by my choice of fabric, the green is actually sparkly when you look at it closely. Look at that… this quilt taught me things that I didn’t know about myself - bad at math, loves sparkles.
I am amazed at how much I improved between #1 and #2.
I did the binding in a dark gray color and stitched it in bright pink. I loved how it turned out and I’ve continued to use the same technique on future quilts. It’s a keeper!
